Today's teens face unique issues their parents never faced. Chewing gum and back talking were the BIG issues years ago. Today teens are dealing with drugs, sex, alcohol, and violence everyday.

WE ARE DIFFERENT...ON PURPOSE.
The teens of our church are no different then you. They deal with school, friends, and family problems. We don't just want you to be a part of our youth group, we want to be a part of your life. We are here for you.

HOW IT ALL STARTED.
My Teen Haven is the web site of our teens at Haven of Rest Baptist Church in West Haven, CT. We launched this site as a way to reach teens who are hurting, confused, or simply just looking for something new and different.

BACK TO THE BASICS
School is here again. The school year brings new challenges for each of you, so we are going back to the basics. This year our youth group will focus on the few things we can do in order to grow in our faith. We are starting in the book of Genesis and walking through the Bible, building a simple but solid foudation in our lives.
