IT'S A WHOLE NEW WORLD.
Today's teens face unique issues their parents never faced. Chewing gum and back talking were the BIG issues years ago. Today teens are dealing with drugs, sex, alcohol, and violence everyday.

WE ARE DIFFERENT...ON PURPOSE.
The teens of our church are no different then you. They deal with school, friends, and family problems. We don't just want you to be a part of our youth group, we want to be a part of your life. We are here for you.

HOW IT ALL STARTED.
My Teen Haven is the web site of our teens at Haven of Rest Baptist Church in West Haven, CT. We launched this site as a way to reach teens who are hurting, confused, or simply just looking for something new and different.

A NEW YEAR AT HORBC
This year has been exciting and sad at the same time. We graduated more then half of our teenagers. They are off to the "real world" now. We brought back one of our former teachers to help with the teens this year. We are happy to have Mr. Vaivoda and Mr. Peters working with the teens of HORBC.
